When it became clear that starting our company was inevitable, we needed a name that was meaningful, one we could proudly stand behind and that would remain relevant for years. One weekend, we visited Congaree National Park and immediately noticed the unique and beautiful trees that appeared to be growing directly out of the water. (If you haven't visited Congaree National Park yet, consider this your invitation!) With that trip fresh in our minds, and recalling that bald cypress wood is valued in construction for its durability, we began to explore more about the tree. What we discovered only strengthened our resolve to incorporate the bald cypress tree into our name!
